Data Deletion

Effective: January 30, 2026

This explains how to request deletion of personal data if you are a subscriber or user of the SunShip platform (sunshipsales.com or the SunShip mobile applications).

Who This Applies To

  • Account Owners who subscribe to the SunShip platform
  • Authorized Users with seat access to the platform

How to Request Deletion

Include in your request:

  • The email address associated with your account (required)
  • Your full name (required)
  • Your company/organization name (required)
  • Whether you are an Account Owner or Authorized User

Verification

We will verify your identity before processing any request. For Account Owners, we may confirm via the email on file. For Authorized Users, we may require confirmation from the Account Owner.

What We Can Delete

Upon verified request, we can delete:

  • Your personal profile information (name, email, phone number)
  • Login credentials and authentication data
  • Account preferences and settings

What Is Retained

⚠️ Important

Per our Terms of Service, business data entered into the platform is owned by SunShip and may be retained. This includes:

  • Lead records and customer information
  • Door knocking records and locations
  • Deal and appointment data
  • Commission estimates and calculations
  • Notes, documents, and uploaded files

This data may be retained for legal, tax, business continuity, or analytics purposes, even after account deletion.

Account Owners

If you are an Account Owner requesting deletion:

  • Your subscription must first be cancelled
  • All Authorized Users under your account will lose access
  • We recommend exporting any data you need before requesting deletion
  • Business data may be retained per our retention policy

Authorized Users

If you are an Authorized User (not the Account Owner):

  • Contact your Account Owner to have your seat removed
  • You may request deletion of your personal profile information directly from us
  • Business data you entered (leads, knocks, deals) is owned by the subscribing business and SunShip, and may be retained

Timing & Confirmation

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days. You will receive confirmation when your personal data has been deleted.

Before You Delete

We do not currently offer automated data export. Before requesting deletion or cancelling your subscription:

  • Manually copy any data you wish to keep
  • Download any documents or files you uploaded
  • Note any information you need for your records
